This describes how Love Sunday’s NeuroDivine app handles information in its current service.
Your account and sign-in
The app stores your handle, membership and invite records, settings, and the vibes and media you submit. If you add an email, your member record stores a keyed fingerprint of the address, used to match you when signing in. It does not store the address itself.
If you request an email sign-in code, the app processes the address you enter and sends it to its configured mail service to deliver that code. During sign-in, your browser tab keeps the entered address in session storage so you can return from your mail app. Successful sign-in clears that pending entry.
A session cookie keeps you signed in. Optional passkeys store a public credential on the server; your device handles face or fingerprint verification. The app does not receive your face or fingerprint.
Who can see contributions
Invited members and the team can see your handle, place vibes, dates, notes, and photos or ready videos attached to visible place entries. The team administers the service and its records.
Your private Selkie profile page, portrait answers, favourite places and wishlist are available through the app only to your signed-in account, unless you choose to show parts of them on your public page. The profile gallery contains your own contributions; adding them to your profile does not change their visibility on place entries.
Only published places have public place pages. Places are published by Hk, or by an editor she named; pages the Love Sunday team published before that rule stay public. Those pages show combined place information. A page can show one member photo or one member video as its cover, only if the member who added it said yes to that photo or video and at least two members have shared a vibe there. A video plays there without sound: the page uses a copy with the sound taken out of the file. It starts by itself only on devices that allow motion and aren’t saving data, goes round twice, then rests, and it can be paused. A member can change that answer under You, then Your photos and videos; saying no takes it off the page at the next visit, but pictures someone already saved from the page, which can include a still from a video, can’t be recalled. Member handles, notes and profile pages are not included on public place pages.
Your public page is off until you turn it on in the app. You choose a name for it, or none, and which parts it shows: places you have vibed that have a public page, with your mood words, your own halo and, if you choose, the month, where you are the only member who has vibed a place or at least three members have; favourite and wishlist places that have a public page; and your counts of vibes, photos and places you added, counted only at places that have a public page. It never shows your handle unless you use it as the page’s name, your member network bio or picture, your email, who invited you, the day or time of a vibe, or anything on a place without a public page. Anyone with its link can open it. It is hidden from search engines, and no public place page links to it. You can change what it shows, turn it off, or replace its link at any time; turning it off takes it down at once, but copies someone already saved, such as screenshots or link previews in a chat, stay with them. The team can take a page down. Anyone can report a page to the team; a report keeps only the reason chosen and when it was sent, not who sent it.
Your member network
The member network is optional. Turning on your member profile makes your handle, chosen bio and member picture available to signed-in members. Each vibe needs its own sharing choice before it appears in the network. Joining does not share your old vibes, private Selkie profile, portrait answers, preferences or private place lists.
You can upload a member picture or choose one of the app’s illustrated avatars. Uploaded pictures are corrected for camera orientation, cropped to a small square and re-encoded without camera or location metadata; the original upload is not kept. You can set a picture privately before turning on your member profile. Switching to an illustrated avatar or initials removes your uploaded picture from the active store. Turning your profile off keeps the chosen picture private until you turn it on again.
Following a member and favoriting a shared vibe are visible to that member in Activity. A favorite’s count is shown on the shared vibe. Saving a vibe is private: the author does not get a notification or see who saved it. The app stores your network settings, connections, favorites, saves, sharing choices, blocks, reports and activity read position in your member record.
You can remove a follower, block a member, report a concern to the team, or quiet the unread activity count in Network settings. Blocking hides your member profiles, shared network vibes, notes and submitted photos or videos from each other within the app and removes follows and favorites between you. Combined place halos and already public place covers remain available.
Turning your member profile off clears your network sharing, follows and favorites, including incoming follows and favorites on your vibes. Turning it back on does not restore them. Private saves and your block and report choices remain. Withdrawing a vibe from the network does not remove its existing contribution to a member place entry; delete the vibe to remove that contribution.
Photos, videos and storage
Submitted photos are re-encoded from their pixels, removing camera and location metadata. When video uploads are enabled, an uploaded source is stored while background processing runs. The app creates a playback clip and poster with source metadata removed, then removes the source after the completed or failed processing result is durably saved. When a member’s video is chosen as a public cover, or the member is asked about it, the app also keeps a short copy of its picture with no sound track. That copy is shown only after the member says yes, and it is deleted when the video is no longer chosen, is replaced or is removed.
Account records and media use the service’s persistent Render disk. A recovery journal lets interrupted saves finish. Disk snapshots and recovery copies can contain earlier data, so removal from the active app does not promise immediate removal from every stored copy.
Requests also produce operational information, such as network addresses and request logs, used to serve the app, diagnose failures and limit repeated requests.
Google Maps and other services
Place search sends what you type through NeuroDivine’s server to Google Maps. If you allow location access, approximate coordinates may also be sent to suggest nearby places. Those coordinates are rounded and are not kept in your place record. The server does not forward your member handle, email, session cookie or network address to Google for these lookups.
Google place photographs are requested through our server and shown with their source and author credits. The app does not save those photographs as member uploads. It stores the Google place ID and the place details you confirm in the form, or a Google place ID the team links to a place in its review room.
Opening a Google Maps, photo-source, author or review link takes you to an external service. Google’s handling of its services is described in the Google Privacy Policy; Google Maps features and content are subject to the Google Maps End User Additional Terms of Service. The app, the landing page, public place pages and these policy pages also request their fonts from Google Fonts.
Editing and leaving
From You in the app, you can change your handle or email, manage passkeys and profile answers, turn your public page on or off, sign out, or delete your account. You can also edit or delete your own place vibes.
Deleting your account removes its member record, your vibes and associated media, and unused invites you created from the active store. Deleting your account also takes down your public page. Used invite records remain because they record how other members joined. Shared place records remain. Copies already saved or shared outside NeuroDivine are outside the app’s deletion controls.
